The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. sassa The support level produced for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
